SAMSON PHEASANT
Samson Pheasant, a resident of Wikwemikong, Manitoulin, died peacefully at his home, on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the age of 39. Born in Little Current on February 28, 1976 to Margaret (Gordon) Pheasant Peltier and Kenneth (Nadine) Pheasant. Loved father of Ashtin and Zephr and step-daughter, Daanis. Survived by brother Daniel, Jeremiah, and sister Trisha (Steve Knauf). Predeceased by sister Pamela May Pheasant. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Samson loved playing golf; he golfed everyday. He also played hockey when he was young and was a goalie in his early twenties. Samson was well known in the community as the “Spoon Man.” Any gathering happening anywhere, he would pull out his spoons from his back pocket and go to town with them. Michael Jackson was his favourite singer because he had the same moves. His moonwalk was something that Michael would have been jealous of. Funeral Services were held at 11 am at Holy Cross Mission Church in Wikwemikong, on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Cremation to follow.
